Passive Perks

17 perks. Limited room. Choose wisely.

Passive perks permanently improve you for the rest of the run. Your work bag starts with room for 3 weapons and 3 perks and grows with your home, up to 5 weapons and 6 perks from the Mansion on, and most perks can be levelled up to five times. Many of them are also the key to a weapon evolution.

Which perks are best?

There is no single best perk, but a few rules of thumb hold. Energy Drink and Noise-Cancelling Headphones improve every weapon you own, so they are never a bad pick. Wi-Fi Extender makes leveling smoother because Gold Stars fly to you from further away. Gym Membership and Stress Ball keep new players alive through the 2 PM rush, and the Intern Assistant is rare but adds a projectile to every weapon you own.

Trade-off perks

Four perks come with a real downside: Overtime Contract, Standing Desk, Glass Desk and Unpaid Internship. They are some of the strongest picks in the game for the right build, and some of the worst for the wrong one. A Glass Desk crit build hits incredibly hard, but every Workaholic that reaches you hurts a lot more.
